Here are some suggestions of how to get involved and support the initiative.

The AIESEC local committee at your university can assist your commitment. With the experience of AIESEC, projects can be accomplished much more effectively. They are an important partner.

Here are some suggestions:

  • use the contacts of the AIESEC network already supporting us and organize lecture series, discussion rounds or presentations.

  • order flyers of the Initiative and distribute them in your university's cafeteria, or hang posters in coordination with the AIESEC local committee at your university.

  • talk to other students about the Initiative and try to build a local network. Share your experience with other students in the Yahoogroup.

  • join political conferences, introduce others to the idea of the Initiative or give presentations at the beginning of term.

besides the possibilities in connection with your studies:...

... sign up for the newsletter and always be informed.

  • add the URL of www.globalmarshallplan.org to your business cards and/or to your digital e-mail business card

  • contribute by participating in political or internet discussion forums about the topic of a Global Marshall Plan (the internet forums have to be provided by yourself); or by writing "letters to the editor" on specific articles in newspapers or magazines

  • try to gain the support of people and organizations, which you believe should be supporters of the Initiative but are not yet listed on the website

  • be the contact person in your region/town to coordinate actions there and stay in touch with the coordination office

  • the most frequent opportunity to promote the idea of a Global Marshall Plan is by discussing it with others who have not heard about the Initiative

  • With the arguments from the website and the Background information it should be possible to convince anyone who is interested in this topic.

  • a great assistance would be, if you could add a link of
www.globalmarshallplan.org in your footer for your emails

The Global Marshall Plan Initiative is a network for those - organizations and individuals alike - who want to support our work. The Global Contract Foundation got the mandate for the organizational coordination of the Initiative. This is done by the coordination office in Hamburg.

Each NGO, company, politician and active supporter has to decide in which way they want to support the Initiative.

One of our goals is to make this Initiative known to as many people as possible. This work cannot be done by the Initiative alone.

The Initiative depends on YOUR involvement!
