On the occasion of the German Protestant Kirchentag, our Initiative made
the book "Impulse für Welt in Balance" with 52 articles on globalization, most
of them by speakers at the Kirchentag. The Book reflects our self-conception,
since it highlights the variety of approaches towards globalization.
Of
the 50,000 copies printed, about 20,000 were distributed at the Kirchentag. A
further 24,000 books were sent to those who ordered it during the subscription
phase as well as to our supporters, stakeholders and decision makers.
Thanks to the volunteer work of the coordination office's team, the
translators, the proof readers, the authors as well as the carrier and the
packers, we only had to finance the relatively low printing costs of € 30,000.
If you continue to make donations and order books, we should be able to cover
all external costs until the end of September 2005.
As a result of this
campaign, we have introduced about 50,000 new people to the solutions for a
world in balance. Our goal to link millions of brains around the globe has come
somewhat closer. Help and support us, so that we can reach our goal. Investing
your time and your money into this Initiative is worthwhile.
